Terms of sale

01Scope

These terms of sale apply to every order placed on pedalix.boutique by a consumer, meaning a person buying for purposes outside their trade or profession. By sending an order you confirm that you have read and accepted them. The version in force on the day of your order applies.

03Products

We sell bicycles, frames, cycling gear, accessories, hydration products, tools and spare parts. Each product page describes the essential characteristics of the product. Photos are as faithful as possible; small differences in colour caused by your screen are not a defect.

Products are offered while stock lasts. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we tell you straight away and refund any amount already paid within 14 days.

04Prices

Prices are shown in euros and include French VAT at 20%. Delivery costs are added separately and shown in your cart before you send your order. The price that applies is the one displayed when you send your order.

05How to order

1. Add products to your cart and choose your delivery area.
2. Enter your name, email and delivery address, then send your order request.
3. We check stock and email you an order summary with a secure payment link, usually within one business day.
4. The sale is concluded when you complete the payment and we send you the order confirmation by email.

Before paying you can check and correct your order and your details. We may refuse an order where there is an unresolved payment dispute with the customer or where the request is clearly abnormal.

06Payment

Payment is made in full when you order, by bank card, on a secure page operated by our payment service provider. Your card details are entered directly with that provider and are never seen or stored by PEDALIX.

07Delivery

We deliver to the following areas:

Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment, with a tracking number sent by email. Unless we agree on another date, we deliver within 30 days of the order at the latest. If we miss the agreed date, you may ask us by email to deliver within a reasonable extra period, and cancel the order if we still fail to deliver; we then refund you within 14 days.

Please check your parcel on arrival. If it is visibly damaged, write reservations on the carrier’s delivery slip and send us photos within three days so we can claim from the carrier and replace or refund the item.

08Ownership and risk

Products remain our property until paid in full. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you have named, take physical possession of the products.

09Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason. How to use this right, the return costs and the refund timing are explained in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

10Legal guarantees

All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

Under the guarantee of conformity, you have two years from delivery to ask for a product that does not conform to be repaired or replaced, free of charge. For new goods, any lack of conformity that appears within those two years is presumed to have existed at delivery. If repair or replacement is impossible, or not completed within 30 days, you can obtain a price reduction or cancel the sale and be refunded.

Under the guarantee against hidden defects, you have two years from discovering the defect to ask for the sale to be cancelled or the price reduced.

Some manufacturers add their own commercial warranty. Where they do, it applies in addition to the legal guarantees and never replaces them. To make a claim, write to contact@pedalix.boutique with your order number and photos of the problem.

11Safe use

Bicycles and frames must be assembled and adjusted by a competent mechanic, following the manufacturer’s instructions and torque values. Always wear a helmet that fits correctly. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accidents, lack of maintenance or normal wear.

12Personal data

We use your data to process and deliver your order. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

13Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failing to perform its obligations because of an event of force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

15Disputes and mediation

If a written complaint to our customer service has not resolved the dispute, you can refer it free of charge to a consumer mediator, in accordance with Articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code. Write to contact@pedalix.boutique and we will send you the mediator’s contact details. You must contact the mediator within one year of your written complaint to us.

16Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. In case of a dispute, you may go to the court of your place of residence or of the place where the contract was concluded.
