How to choose

Three things worth knowing before you buy accessories.

Frame bag or saddle bag?

A saddle bag keeps a tube and tools out of the way. A frame or top-tube bag keeps your phone, snacks and keys within reach while you ride.

Check fender clearance

Measure the gap between tyre and frame first. Clip-on fenders such as the Zefal Shield fit most road bikes that have no mounting eyelets.

Flying with your bike

Remove the pedals and handlebar, let a little air out of the tyres and pad the derailleur. A wheeled bag makes stations and airports easy.
